  4. Registerd, Logged in, Saved PDF. and ‘Insufficeint Data for Image’… The pages appear but are VERY blurry…Any Help?

    • The issue may have to do with your version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Have you tried upgrading your version of Acrobat?

      From the Adobe website:

      Issue

If you have updated Adobe Acrobat/Reader to the current version 10.1.4 or 9.5.2 then you may encounter the following error when opening some PDF files:

      “Insufficient data for an image”

      Reason

This error occurs due to a problem in the Adobe Acrobat/Reader functionality used to display scanned documents and/or documents containing JP2K images.

      Solution

This issue has been fixed with the latest version of Reader XI now available (http://get.adobe.com/reader). We are actively working on a solution for previous versions and expect to have a fix available for Adobe Acrobat/Reader 10.1.x and 9.5.x in Q1 2013.

You can read the whole topic here: http://blogs.adobe.com/dmcmahon/2012/08/21/acrobat-insufficient-data-for-an-image-error-after-updating-to-10-1-4-or-9-5-2/

  5. Got the fix and it works! The book looks very well done; Walt’s cover is quite good, Gavin P. Smith’s inside art is suprisingly great, I really enjoyed the preview. I’m intrigued by the story, the whole ‘Galiators’ theme, but then being controlled by different-time beings…Very cool. BUT…Page 5, “Eighty-Six Years Ago” Then Lex picks up the newspaper dated 1970 and says, “Five Years. I’m Five Years in the Futu-” Soo, she’s in the past…In the future? I guess time and more pages will help me understand. Overall, ts preview has been great. Thanks Accelerators!

    • I think she is from the year 1965 and creates a time machine (the donut) and then travels to her future of 1970. Also, the time games, if they are 86 years from then, would be in 2056!

  6. Man, this glimpse makes me want the full comic! By the way, I could totally see the Image Comics logo on the front of this thing! (Not that your logo isn’t as cool)

  7. Boo to Adobe for Adobe Reader being suddenly made of fail.

FWIW the document displays fine with the “Preview” application in Mac OS X Lion, while I wait for Adobe Reader 11 to download…

  8. What can I say? You guys really did a kick ass job on this! I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. Only wish I didn’t live 2000mi from the stash to pick it up. lol. So can’t wait to see it on our shelves too when it’s release!!! Walt the cover rocks!!! As does the rest of the book!!! Thanks guys for the sneak peek… Good luck and great job on your first out the gate.

  9. Wow Love it, Just found out about it from comic book men/I sell comics. Cant wait to pick up an issue

  10. Is there a direct link for the download somewhere? Anything I click on just keeps bringing me back to this page. Not sure if my brain has been damaged or if my browser is f’ing with me but I can’t seem to get the pdf. ARGH!

    • got it, was overlooking the “enter your name and email” part. Thought once I logged in it would just appear and I didn’t really look at that part again.
